A real heartthrob ❤️ We absolutely loved everything about the Mare e Monti. This charming hotel has an incredible allure, a rare soul and elegance. You feel at home from the very first moments. The welcome from the owners and the entire team is exceptional: attentive, kind, generous and simple. The service is warm, considerate, and highly professional. The location is magnificent, full of character, in an authentic village that adds to the magic of the stay. Everything is elegant without ever being pretentious, with a sensation of being welcomed with a lot of heart. We leave enchanted, with wonderful memories and above all, a desire to return. A magnificent house of Americans, with authentic charm. Peaceful, greenery, swimming pool, beautiful stones. A very warm welcome. We will return.

Beautiful historic building with lovely rooms. Still partly furnished as a museum. Well-kept but not an extensive breakfast. Very nice outdoor dining. Good swimming pool with enough sun loungers. What an oasis of peace. Very friendly service. I would gladly come back. Parking is limited at the door, but we always found a space.

The location is perfect for exploring the region while enjoying the peace and a bit of freshness. The charming hotel is very pleasant and we were warmly welcomed. Delicious breakfast.

What a beautiful discovery, literally under the charm ... the absolute contrast ... just a lovely surprise ... beyond the promise, wonderful encounters ... we place the human at the centre ... we talk about history, we pause and we breathe deeply while closing our eyes ... exhale and we let ourselves be carried away. Lydie's welcome is very friendly. The breakfast is plentiful with local products. The garden and pool are very well maintained. The hotel is ideally located for travelling from Ile Rousse to Calvi. The bathroom in the double room would require some adjustments.

We spent 3 nights at this very lovely boutique hotel. We warmly thank Lydie for her welcome, kindness, and all her valuable advice. We will return with great pleasure if the opportunity arises.
