Beautiful and magical place Calm, steeped in history, set in nature, and an extraordinary breakfast.

Very beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Balagne where we spent several nights. The location is magnificent, peaceful and steeped in history. The rooms are very lovely. The breakfasts, made up of regional products, are delicious. All the staff are extremely kind and have always been attentive to our needs. A pure moment of happiness. A lovely surprise.

The hotel enjoys an ideal location in the heart of the stunning Balagne region. It combines modern comfort with authenticity, retaining all the charm of a residence from the last century. Guests can enjoy a beautiful pool and a very lovely garden for relaxation. The rooms, comfortable and bright, offer breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The breakfasts are delicious, enhanced by local and homemade products. A big thank you also for the warm and attentive welcome, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. We will return.

We stayed for 5 nights in this beautiful, historic house during our holiday in Corsica and thoroughly enjoyed it. The building exudes charm and offers a pleasant, cosy atmosphere. We were particularly impressed by the well-maintained pool area with terrace and bar – ideal for relaxation. The building has plenty of character and has been lovingly preserved in its original style – particularly the rooms and bathroom fit perfectly into the overall picture and radiate a special atmosphere. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and always helpful. A particular highlight: The drinks were always served with small snacks – a nice gesture that made the stay even more enjoyable.

The garden, the pool, the house - a wonderful alternative to the interchangeable hotels of large chains. This stylish house exudes history without feeling dated. Thanks to the professional hospitality, you immediately feel at home and welcome.

A three-star hotel that is almost like a 4! Superb stay at Mare e Monti, with quality service in a splendid setting. The rooms are spacious, well-furnished, and air-conditioned. Bathrobe, slippers, and pool towels are provided. The breakfast is excellent with Corsican products (cheese, cured meats, almonds, canistrelli) and homemade items (pastries and yoghurts in particular), along with unlimited freshly squeezed orange juice. The hotel is located in an idyllic setting, and there are superb hikes to be enjoyed right from the hotel. The pool is perfectly maintained and the bar offers cocktails. An excellent surprise, so I will certainly revisit in the coming years.

Discovered during our first stay in 2010, we returned with great pleasure to this enchanting place for the fourth time, after 12 years of absence. And the magic is still present: it is truly a dream location. The residence is splendid, both inside and out. The welcome was very warm and attentive – a big thank you to the Renucci family for allowing us to enjoy this magnificent house, to Lydie for her smile and good humour, as well as to all the staff. Here, one simply feels very well! Our room was beautiful, with very comfortable bedding and air conditioning (very pleasant during this heatwave). The delicious breakfast highlights local products and homemade yoghurts and cakes. And what can be said about the setting… nestled in tranquillity, in an amphitheatre of mountains reminiscent of the Andes, the hotel offers both the possibility of superb hikes, visits to the charming villages of Balagne, and proximity to the sea (only 20 to 25 minutes), not to mention the pool and the numerous terraces where it is enjoyable to relax. Super charming hotel, very lovely and the staff are very friendly, it can get a bit warm in the room if you don't have air conditioning, and the shower can be temperamental with the temperature. The rest is perfect, I recommend!

A simply exquisite place. A warm welcome and an incredibly stunning location. The welcome booklet with all the information and tips was also perfect. The village is charming and the restaurants nearby are very good.

One of our favourite charming hotels in Corsica. The location is very calm, in a village in Balagne, but not too far from the coast. The house has retained all the charm of the old, with very beautiful rooms, and a magnificent tree-filled garden, with different levels, several species of plants, peaceful little corners, and a lovely swimming pool. The welcome is also perfect, making you feel at home (well, like in a house we would dream of having!). This is already our second summer here, and we can’t wait to come back!!

Superb hotel, with beautiful outdoor spaces (terraces, pool, small outdoor bar) and located in a lovely little mountain village. Very quiet and clean. Charming and caring staff. And the best part: an amazing breakfast with local products and homemade items. In short, I highly recommend it!

This beautiful residence turned charming hotel allows us to have a lovely stay, well done.

During our tour into the hinterland of Calvi, we took a little break at the Hotel Mare e Monti in Feliceto. Although there is no bar service, we were allowed to choose a lovely spot in the garden. The Corsican white wine offered to us was so delightful that we went straight to the Domaine Renucci (neighbouring house) to make a purchase. The lady of the hotel was incredibly friendly and charming. Next time, we will definitely stay overnight in this beautiful, historic hotel.
